The Course
A one year course with emphasis on all aspects of state-of-the-art functional and aesthetic treatment suitable for newly qualified and experienced practitioners alike.
The aim of the course is to cover all the disciplines necessary to run a successful and predictable restorative based practice.
The core subjects in traditional quality restorative dentistry will be thoroughly covered and these will be tied in with an emphasis on cosmetic treatment thus allowing participants to restore a wide range of cases with confidence.
With this confidence will come better communication and rapport with patients and ultimately a more predictable and profitable practice.
The numbers are strictly limited in order that each participant has personal attention and is able to practice the techniques they have been taught in hands-on sessions (on phantom heads and models as well as having the opportunity to work under an operating microscope).
Participants are actively encouraged to bring models and x-rays of cases to discuss and the course tutors will also be available between sessions for support and advice.
Each session is supported with a Critical Reading list giving a good overview of current scientific thinking and there will be ample opportunity to discuss these papers.
The course is fully acceptable for verifiable CPD (80+ hours), non-verifiable CPD (critical reading lists) and accreditation has been applied for DGDP, MGDS and FFGDP exams of the Royal College of Surgeons.
A certificate will be provided for each participant on completion of the course
